My wife's 2004 GMC Envoy developed a new problem. When you turn the car off the blower motor continues to run on high. I have to remove the fuse to get it to stop. I understand it could either be the resistor or the relay? Which should I try first and does anyone have pics or a schematic that would show me where it is? I'm pretty good with working on cars, but need a visual to help me know where it is.

My 2010 Acadia does the same thing, dealer said thats normal to cool down coolant after long run. Might be the same?

Edit: stops after few minutes.

I have an 03 Envoy and the blower has never ran after shutting it off.. Sounds like a bad resistor to me. I replaced ours a few years back, the blower wouldn't come on.

Under the glove box on the passenger side, pretty simple fix.
