I'm replacing calipers, rotors and pads on a 4WD 1997 Jimmy. I realized after everything was taken apart that they sent me the 2WD caliper. It should've been 4WD. The only difference that I can see is the angle at which the brake hose connects to the caliper. The 4WD brake hose has a 90 degree bend in it whereas the 2WD attaches straight on. I'm going to try to swap the left and right brake hose to see if that angle will allow me to attach them. If not, I'm thinking the next quickest and cheapest option would be to buy 2WD hoses from the store down the road. My question is is it going to make a difference if my hoses and calipers are actually meant for the 2WD vehicle?
