Brake/suspension help

Sorry if this has already been posted somewhere.

I have a 2006 Sierra 1500
4.3 Vortec V-6,standard cab,long bed,disc front,drum rear.

Heres my problem.

When I go around a corner,it squeaks, When I hit the brakes, it squeaks.
My pads and rotors on the front were replaced about a year ago.
Not sure if this has any bearing on it what so ever but the pads I have on there now leave a LOT of brake dust. I can wash my wheels and drive it 10 miles then they are black again. So what kind of pads do you all recommend?

Ceramic Brake pads are what i am using on my Jimmy and they leave no brake dust at all. yes they do cost more, but last 3 times longer the metalic pads and much quieter.
