Hi All, first post ever here and never owned a truck until the summer of 2016 and LOVE IT!, will never buy another car (48 Male btw)

I am hoping someone can help or give feedback. I own a 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 (Gas) with 75,000 KMs on it, after driving it for about an hour or so, when I shut it off and park it, I can smell a burning rubber smell by the Back, its not over bearing at all and thought it could be a rubber hanger, but I dont see anything..

Any Ideas?

Thanks Everyone

does your truck have stock exhaust?
when I put a flowmaster muffler on my '98
it radiated more heat then the stock muffler
over time I noticed the rubber on the step bumper discoloring and disfigurement

Hi Pete, thanks for your feedback, as far as I know, it does have stock exhaust. I was sent an email just this morning that my truck is due for an oil change and Muiltipoint inspection, I will try and pick there brain as well.

I was reading others were having similar issues with their 2014 GMCs , called Regen (Regeneration I think it means) but I think it may only refer to Diesel Motors , not sure.

Thanks Again

Feel the wheel rims to see if one rim is a lot hotter than the other 3. It might be a dragging brake on one wheel.
