can i istall a 02 caddilac front end on a 01 gmc sierra...or do i need a custom kit?

my friend crashed his 02 cadillac escalade and i was wondering if i could install the escalade front end on my 01 gmc sierra or do i need a custom kit

Actually the avalance was the starter for the caddilac truck. People were takeing the front ends of of the full side escalades and putting the front ends on an avalanche. It took a little doing but most everything had the same bolt patterns,,
