I am working on this truck for a friend and his shifter gets stuck when you start the engine. I have replaced the shifting mechanism and shifter cable. I noticed that one of the rods keep getting caught. it's attached to a black cylindrical box shape piece that has a magnet and another piece that clips to the rod that does in there. are the wires attached to that box a sensor or something?
