Can't turn radio off and keep Nav on

I just purchased a 2012 Acadia and can't figure out how to turn the radio off while keeping the Navigation system on. I read the posts about pushing the power button one, but that just turns the entire system off. Can someone please help?

You are not able to shut the radio off because that will shut down the entire system. You can control the volume with the knob on your audio system.
