I have a 2013 5.3 Sierra and my check engine light comes on during idle. I have a code reader and it says the truck is running lean. I can reset it, but it will come back later on at idle. If I am driving it, it will never come on. Suggestions?

fuel pump not getting enough voltage to produce the pressure the injectors require when engine is idling,
dirty injectors,
poor quality gasoline
weak fuel pump
i don't know if there is a fuel filter on your truck, my 2011 does not have an external replaceable filter

Thank you. I am at 145k on mileage and need to replace hoses. A guys said it could have a vacuum leak. I will get that done.
