Clunking noise passenger side

I have a 2000 Jimmy Diamond Addition. I have always been getting a clunking noise going over buts when driving. It seems to be coming from an area behind the dash and passenger front door. I was told it might be the bracket that holds the hood in place but after looking at it a while back that seems to be secure. I do not drive it much any more so it has been out of sight and mind until recently when I had to use it daily. It drives me nuts!! the truck runs good and still looks great but the noise makes you think the truck is falling apart.
Any ideas out there??

My 2000 Jimmy has the exact same problem. I am very curious to see any replies on this issue.
