I have an 04 Sierra and have to replace the coolant hoses coming out of the firewall. My question is how do you get them off the fittings on the firewall? i have the new ones and it looks like there are clips inside the end of it that would bend then snap into place once its on which would not allow them to be pulled off, but how do the old ones come off?

Careful not to break the heater fitting, you need a tool to disconnect the hose from the heater core. Here is a link to the to heater hose quick connect tool. http://www.otctools.com/products/gm_heater_line_quick-connect_release_tool

Good luck and keep us posted. :D
