Cross rails 2017

I just put on the GMC cross rails. Very easy install. They don't adjust like the older ones, so the front one sits over the rear sunroof. I don't ride back there, so probably not an issue.

I also just put on GM Cross rails on my 2017 acaidia Denali. Installation was straight forward (I think). One problem that I have is that they create a loud wind noise. I have uninstalled them thinking that I did something wrong. I do not believe I did as they seem that they can only go on one way. Has any one else had this issue?

I am about to purchase a pair or crossrails, and in doing my research I read a review saying that the crossrails can be installed in either direction... with one direction creating a whistling noise. I could be mistaken in this, but have you tried rotating the crossrail 180 degrees and reinstalling?
