Cruise and 4WD keep going out at same time

I keep blowing my cruise control fuse and subsequently my 4WD goes out as a result. I have replaced the fuse several times already. I am thinking I have a bad ground somewhere. I installed a CB about three years ago. I uninstalled it thinking that might have been the issue but it was not. If anyone has had or knows where I should begin I would be grateful.
