CRUSHED exhaust in front of transfer case

hey guys

im new to this forum, im from Québec canada, i have a 2008 SIERRA 2500HD with the 6L engine, i do have a little exhaust leak from the link right after the manifold, and my exhaust is crushed in the link in front of the transfer case, quick question fast, will it damage my truck driving it like that ( it is crushed pretty badly) i am thinking about driving down to florida with my toyhauler, and i think my exhaust leak is from the hit it got because its not from the manifold gasket, also what would be better go to a muffler shop and have them weld another pieces of tubing in the OR but a new joint.......thanks alot guys

I would get it fixed before the trip, it could get much worse. If the pipe itself is crushed so as to restrict flow, get that fixed asap as that could lead to engine damage (back pressure). My advice would be to replace the damaged parts.
