Hi Everyone,
My 2011 GMC Sierra 5.3L has a check engine light on. I bought a cheap OBDII Code Reader and it gave me the code:
P0305 - Cylinder 5 Misfire Detected
I went through and changed out my cylinder 5 spark plug, spark plug wire, and ignition coil. I cleared the check engine code and after driving for 5 minutes the CEL came back on with the same code. Obviously, I didn't fix the problem.
Any suggestions as to what else could be causing cylinder 5 to misfire.
Thank you very much.
Just to make sure I am not crazy, cylinder five is on the driver side, third back from the front of the vehicle?
