Diablo tuners and AFM

Has anyone used the Diablo tuner to turn off the fuel management system so your engine stays in 8 cyl mode all the time. Apparently this stops the damn oil consumption..

Yes a Diablo Sport programmer can disable AFM, on their programmers, they call it DOD (displacement on demand).

A Diablo Predator as well can turn off the DOD/AFM. It doesn't automatically turn this off though when you install the tune. Once you have installed your tune, go into the menu and select "modify tune". There will be an option in there to turn DOD/AFM off. After that you are good to go.

Thanks for the info Molson (great beer btw). I haven't bought the tuner yet..it will be an after Christmas thing...but I will be. I hate adding oil to an engine that only has 70K on it.
