i have a 2007 gmc sierra sle new body style but did that model came with xm radio build in they told me to press the band button or aux button until the radio when to xm but nothing happens is there another way to get the radio id number to buy a subscription let me know

They come XM ready which means they are capable of receiving the signal and displaying the station/song info but you still need to have the dealer or competent stereo component dealer install the receiver which mounts under the dash. I think it was around $200 when I checked into it. Obviously, you don't need to do this if the unit was already installed but sounds like it wasn't.
