My dad has a 2002 gmc sierra 2500hd diesel. The vehicle has been at 2 or 3 different mechanics and they cant figure out the problem. Diesel is getting mixed with the oil in the motor. Some say its a bad piston others say other things. has anyone experienced the same thing before? And if you have or didnt and know the problem can you help? thanks.

Injectors are bad. there in side the valve cover and are leaking. comon problem

they had a long warantee on them. check with the dealer and see if they still are. It's a big job to do them all.

Issued 10/10/2006, GM Document ID#1866141 & recently #04039B indicates that additional injector warranty coverage is now available for a period of 7 years from the date the vehicle was placed into service or 200,000 miles - whichever occurs first.
