Do I need a transmission cooler on my 05 GMC Canyon to pull a boat.?

It has offroad package but not 4 wheel drive, 3.5 vortec inline 5 and is club cab.
Oh ya, I could just go look at the manual, but it is cold outside, and I am being lazy.
Also does it come with it or do I need to have one put on.

pretty sure it does, but when in overdrive use extreme caution

put trannny cooler in before towing unless you like buying trannys and they dont come stock

If its an automatic you should have a cooler now in the rad. It will depend on the weight of the boat and trailer. Check with a shop that installs hitches and coolers.
