Door locks stopped working

I have a 2000 GMC Jimmy and last night my door locks stopped working. I held down the button to open the hatch and suddenly the hatch and both door locks stopped working. My adjustment for the mirrors doesn't work either. I checked the fuse and it was fine. I switched it anyway to be safe and still nothing. Now I have to manually push the locks to lock and unlock my doors and I can't open the hatch at all. If anyone can tell me why this happened and how I can fix it I would greatly appreciate it.

I've read abt GMC Jimmy's affected by faulty power doors, but I don't think 2000 GMC Jimmy's should be on that list. It says the doors stop working due to a failed actuator.

In your case, perhaps you can run an inspection on the wire running from the switch to the fuse panel and look for an open or short. I consult this when I have power lock problems, might help you to. Hope it gets fixed.
