Hi, I'm new here and was wondering about the block plate on a 2001 GMC Jimmy.
I was changing my oil and saw two screw holes by the starter and noticed that it was open space and I could see the torque converter. Is there supposed to be a block plate on our cars and is that open space normal? It just doesnt seem right. I would appreciate if anyone could put a picture of their starter area up so I can compare. I can put a picture up if needed as well.
