Engine Codes

[Sierra2500]

Hey everyone,

I own a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4x4 6L V8 dual exhaust and i had a check engine light come on, I looked up the code online (P0158) and all i found was 02 sensor high voltage. Anyone know what would cause this or how to fix, couldn`t find really anything online as to the cause of the problem.

i hah that code a couple years ago heres what i did
first removed and reattach every connection i could find going from the o2 sensor
still had the code so i switched the left and right o2 sensors
the code cleared but in the process i noticed the threads on the sensors wherer rusted so i wire wheeled the sensors and wire brused th bung so maybe that caused a bad electrical connection and i used anti-seize
but becareful with antisieze i will contaminate the sensor that is as per hot rod mag. and make it inoperative
handle the sensor nicely they say they are sinsitive don't use pliers use only a six point socket
i have had no continuing problem
