Exhaust Advice 2008 GMC Sierra

Hey everyone. I have 2008 Sierra z71, V8 5.4L, 4x4 and was wondering if anyone had some advice on what kind of exhaust to put in it.

What are the advantages of true dual exhaust vs. single in dual out? I know the cost is more, but does it provide more HP, mpg, etc?

I'm looking for something that's throaty but not too loud. I've heard the Flowmaster 50s are good. Anyone have any experience with them or know of something similar that's good?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I used to have http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/ but now i am using http://www.magnaflow.com/. I went with the magnaflow when i had to get my exhaust redone for the fact that the shop was going to replace my catalytic converter and the cost was unbeatable.
