My early 2002 Envoy has 138,000 miles on it. It has been the best vehicle I've owned. It has been in the shop one time at 125,000 to replace axle ends. I've done nothing else but routine brakes, plugs (at 120,000), filters, etc.

I hope to keep the Envoy for a couple more years. What can I expect to see fail within the next few years or what should I look at for prevention now?

Thanks

Clean or replace your variable Valve Timing (VVT) solenoid. It takes about 30 min to replace with simple tools, you can clean it or replace it. I find them inexpensive enough that I just replace it being that your looking at a part that is 12 year old now.

Stay safe and hope this kelps;)
