I marked two items on this wiring diagram with big black dots. Can you please explain them.
I am aware of the "EGR Vacuum Regulator Selonoid" on my 1995 5.7L and also the EGR itself. The selonoid has 2 wires going to it. But on this diagran they show a "EGR Electronic Vacuum Regulator Selonoid Valve" with 3 wires and also a "EGR Valve Selonoid" with 2 wires. Can you explain these two items?
Also, it appears from the diagram that these 2 items are controlled by 12V. True?
I applied 12V to my selonoid and I heard the relay click. But when I talked to someone about this they said that this selonoid does not operate on 12V but receives a low "signal" voltage. When I measured the voltage in the harness going to the selonoid it measured 0.15V. What is the truth about the amount of voltage going to the selonoid? Or is it a variable voltage?
EDIT:: Dang! I don't think my picture turned out good enough.
