I just bought a 1997 GMC Sonoma SLS It has a 2.2L with a 5 speed, sweet little truck. My question is about that the Reese hitch, it is mounted behind the bumper, you have to lift the license plate in order to insert the hitch, and the distance from the receiver out past the bumper surpasses the normal length of a hitch. The truck did not come with a hitch so I was wandering, has anyone had to buy one of these before?
