Purchased a 2011 Sierra and love it!! I also bought a fiberglass cap through the dealership. They installed it last Thursday, but had a problem with the 3rd brake light. For whatever reason they couldn't connect the wiring for it, needed some form of electrical relay or something. The wires are run to the shell, but not connected to the light. The truck has the trailer towing package. Why couldn't they just splice into the brake light wiring for the trailer? Dealership said some people don't even bother to connect it. Isn't it a Federal law? Needless to say I'm driving it without the 3rd brake light and am not a happy camper (no pun intended.)
