Yes Washington State. Not D.C., The one above Oregon and next to Idaho. And No I Don't Know Your Cousin That Lives In Seattle. I'm 280 miles from Seattle. I may know them if they live in North Idaho and aren't Liberals. I'm 10 miles from the Idaho Border.
Long time Chevy owner. Parted with my 78 K20 Camper Special with Big Block and 6inches of total lift. Recently upgraded to an 06 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab 4x4, 5.3, automatic, Stock everything! And twice the gas mileage. I think the only things non stock are the nerf bars and spray in bed liner. I've spoiled myself with Caddys since 02. So had to get it with leather and most of the bells and whistles. Wow it sure rides better than the old Chevy.
So have already done some searching on this forum. Hope I don't ask any dumb questions. You guys are rough on Newbees. I'm on a few different sites. Bikes and Cadillacs mostly. So I'm fairly savvy on doing searches. Never really got on any truck forums in the past. Had the Chevy over 20yrs. Was done modifying it way before I ever had a computer or cell phone for that matter. Probably not going to go nearly as high as the Chevy sat. They just put brand new stock sized street tires on it. So will probably just crank up the torsion bar keys to level it out for now. I just don't do the off road thing like I use to. The most aggressive thing I've done off road lately I could have done in the GFs little 99 Jimmy without even shifting into 4x4. I am probably gonna carry a small camper. 7.5 ft cab over that now sits on a 2 wheel drive 5.2 liter Dakota. Will have to do a little modifications to it. Or may just nut up and buy a bumper pull travel trailer.
