Im new here. I just bought a new to me 04 Sierra 2wd, 4.8L, ex cab with 54k miles. So far, the only things I have done to it are ad a tool box, take off chrome trim around wheel wells and take off SLE emblems on each side. Im thinking about taking the chrome strips off the doors, along with the GMC/Sierra badging on the tailgate.
Not sure if I want to dump any extra money into this truck or not that I cant easily take out for another truck. I am thinking about a sound system, K&N drop in, tint, maybe just a muffler, wheels/tires.... I just got rid of a POS 00 Ram that had too many "common problems," and I put a lot of extra money into it that I didnt get out of it.
So far my only annoyances are...some vibration sound around 900 RPMs and a squeaking seat belt on the drivers side. Other than that I cant complain. Im sure I will enjoy the ~20 mpg with this truck....I only got 13.5 on the highway with a tuner set on fuel mpg with the Ram.
