Four wheel drive

While plowing this week I noticed my 4x4 seemed to be working but not very well. I was having a lot of rear wheel spin with not much pulling from the front wheels. Is there any chance the actuator isn't engaging the front axle all the way. I never got stuck but I was very close a few times. Last winter while plowing I never had a issue like this I could go through anything. Maybe I should have tried using 4 lo and see if that would make a difference. Any ideas would be helpful.

Well today plowing four wheel drive completely went out. I changed out the actuator on the front end and it seems to be working the way it should again. Not much fun trying to finish up plowing in 2wd. I got stuck about 5 times.
