front axle removal

Goal is to change to change the axle seal.

So I've gotten as far is to remove the bearing. And a few swear words too.
Now I have to remove the knucle and those four or five bolts which dont look like fun.
my question is. The axle should just pull out and reinstall right? Nothing should happen with the diff?

Nobody has pulled an axle shaft from a Jimmy?

Come on guys and gals.

I just want to know if it simply pulls out and can go back easily.

Just had the left front one done by the dealer. He said he had to take off the cover, then pull 2 pins, and then the axle can be pulled out.

That's all I can tell you. Better than nothing.
