Bearing on the transfer case is bad and the shaft has movement which is causing a noise and you can see metal fillings next to the transfer case. Is there anyway to disconnect the shaft from the wheel without having any other problems? I know it would only it would only be a 2 wheel drive vehicle. Can it just be removed from the wheel and left inside the transfer case to prevent oil leaking out? The truck has 200,000 miles on it and i do not want to put any money into it at this point. PLEASE HELP!!!!! This is on an Envoy XUV
