hello new user here..i have a 2001 gmc 1500 4x4 and i have a front end noise when going over bumps cant find any thing loose on front end and it's starting to drive me crazy cause i can't find where it's coming from...any help well be helpful on what to do to fix this problem..

rattle, that means something lose able to vibrate,
engine compartment- airbox , battery box, radiator shroud,
next- fender wheel well, grill pieces, center piece of the wheel(a lot of times they rattle),
the noise is it different at different speeds, when turning left or right

just a rattle when going over bumps at all speeds and turning

maybe this will help......is there suppose to be a rubber bushing in the cross member mount that the torsion bar goes through?????????????

ok I have found the rattle in my truck it was sounding like it was coming from the front but after a little more the rattle was coming from the rear brakes it was the emergency brakes in the rotors that was making the rattle......thanks for the help that I got from some and I hope this helps someone else if they have the same problem........it was the mounting clip that holds the emergency brakes tight to the backing plate.....
