Hi i've been searching and searching, looking at shock measurements and I need some help. I've got a 2006 gmc sierra 1500 sle 4.8 v8 with a leveling kit installed up front. about .75" to 1" lift. The oem shock rod stem has about 2.75" of length to it. This will accomidate the lift spacer and the stock bushings/nut. all of the aftermarket replacement shocks fall short of about .25" of shock rod stem to put on the lift spacer, stock bushings/nut.
has anyone else ran into this and have found a sutable repacement shock? Do you know of any shocks with 2.75"-3" shock rod stems? I've been looking at ranchos, monroes but their shock rod stems fall short.
I've also been looking for 3/8-16 shock extenders as an option to put on the rancho rs5263. but cannot find any so far.
thanks
