The Fuel Pump Relay and (The Fuel Control Relay) which are both exactly the same relay is located in the Glove Box under a little cover on the upper left side. The Fuel Control Relay is the left relay and The Fuel Pump Relay is the right. To test these relays, swap them and then try to start the vehicle, or blow the horn. If the horn blows then use that relay for the pump and you may at least drive the vehicle where needed! If the vehicle starts, then replace them as a pair. (between $14.00 - $20.00 at local parts store)

More info: the Fuel pump relay is controlled by the ECM so check all the fuses at the end of the dash on the drivers side. The other thing also common to go bad is the ground wire from the fuel pump to the frame, the ground wire is separate from the wire harness to the fuel sending unit and is grounded on the frame away from the tank somewhere on the driver's side.

Knowing this, start with the simple and check the fuses and there is also a connector on the frame "driver's side" for the fuel sending unit wire harness. You can always check there so see if there is any 12 Volt supply to the fuel pump, but what would be easier is to put your fingers on the relay and when your turn the ignition to the on position, you should hear and feel the relay work for 5 seconds before it shuts off. :)

If everything is good then you'r going to have a fuel pump issuess and your going to have to drop the gas tank to replace the fuel sending unit and also replace the wire harness from the sending unit to the frame. it's a $15,00 investment that is worth a million.

Good luck and keep us all posted on how your making out on your project.
