Changed the motor put a 4.3 vortec back in it.. new motor has spark. wont pull fuel from the gas tank for some reason. will start if you put fuel in the intake.. but other then that it wont do nothing like its getting no gas any ideas.. changed everything on the intake also even the spider and retimed still the same issue.. thanks

Check your fuel pressure at the shredder valve. You need 62-65 PSI to have your engine start up. Anything less will give you a no start, a dirty fuel filter or a bad ground will give you a weak fuel pressure. A old and worn out fuel pump will also give you a weak fuel pressure and fuel pumps have a life of 150,000 miles.

If you have no fuel pressure, inspect your fuses and the fuel pump relay. At wost you have a bad fuel pump. Good luck and keep us posted.
