Two weeks ago, it started to sputter as if it had no fuel (while accelerating moderately quickly). The gas pedal immediately felt stiff, and the engine seemed to lose some "get up and go". The random sputtering went away 2-3 days later, but the other issues still have not. The gas pedal is stiff to press down, and almost seems to have "dead spots" where additional pedal movement does nothing (between 45-55). If I absolutely floor it, I can still accelerate. I replaced the spark plugs and plug wires at the end of this past week, and it changed nothing. There are a few things I'm wondering if it could be, and could use some advice. Could it be the throttle cable having frayed, the TPS having gone bad, low fuel pump pressure (replaced it myself over a month ago with the fuel filter as well, as it had been sitting for a year), a clogged up fuel filter from having sat, bad gas (wouldn't explain the pedal though, would it? I had just filled up the evening before), or any other suggestions that would be appreciated? Also, the temp gauge went out yesterday.

Items replaced so far
* Fuel pump and filter
* Spark plugs and wires
* PCV Valve
* Air Filter
* Added ATF
* Oil Changed + filter

Sorry for the lengthy question, and any help would be appreciated a great deal. If I had hair on the top of my head, I would have pulled it out by now.
Also been running Techron cleaner through it for a few weeks, and added dry gas to this tank after the problem started.
Thanks for the response man. I did check the Catalytic Converter and it's fine, also checked the throttle body butterflies. They're pretty much spotless :-/ I went over the external portion of all the sensors today and everything looked fine, I'll recheck them in the morning.
