Hi,
First let me say hello. Sorry that my first post is a request for help, but I am at my wits end on this issue.
I have a 96 Jimmy 4 door, two wheel drive. Last week the vehicle stopped going into any gear. Had it towed to a tranny shop and they diagnosed a bad torque converter. My son and I just replaced the converter and buttoned everything back up. Now the gear shifter will not move out of park. I thought it was the tranny, so I removed the shift linkage from the neutral safety switch, but it still will not move. I checked the line and it's not kinked and it doesn't look like the mechanism is bound on anything. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
