I have a 2004 Envoy XUV and I need a new case/rubber insert for one of my FOB remotes. Apparently, my older style FOB is no longer available or really high priced. So my question is, can I use the electronics of my original FOB in the new design cases? It looks almost exactly the same except for the upper left button is no longer oval - it has a straight edge. I'm guessing that it will work if I put the "guts" of mine into a newer case but I will defer to the experts to let me know. (my original FOB has a red silicone cover on it)
