gmc sierra blower motor?

hello, i have a 2001 gmc sierra 2500hd. the blower motor for my ac and heat only works sometimes. i will be driving and it will just shut off... and then sometimes it will turn back on a hour later or so. this problem occurs at all fan speeds. i already replaced the relay. If anyone knows what the problem is could you please let me know? thank you

Sounds like your wire harness to your speed blower resitor has gone bad. Bad as in melted and causing you to loose conductivity when the wires heat up.

Disconnect the wire harness and inspect the harness connections for any signs of damage like as in it's melted which is common.
