I recently noticed that when i apply the brakes in my suburban the steering wheel turns to the left. So i took off the wheels and calipers to inspect them and one of the pistons were seized. So i changed the calipers and brake pads , re mounted them and properly bled the brakes. I am still having the issue with the wheel turning as brakes are applied, not only that but with the front end jacked up the wheels dont seem to turn as freely as i would expect. when i had the calipers removed the rotor would spin easily. Its not terribly hard to turn but there does seem to be resistance now , is this normal? if not any suggestions or links would be very helpful! thanks.
It is a 1990 , 4wd drums in the rear. Strange thing is , although the sterring wheel turns it still stays straight. the alignment is fine doesnt pull when driving, and i checked tire pressure and its equal all the way around. The hoses dont appear to be bad but from what i understand they can collapse on the inside, but when i bleed the brakes i get plenty of fluid pupmping though each side. The master cylinder appears to be fine, is there anything i can do to check that? Thanks for all the replys, all of you are very helpful!

should back off a bit when your not pressing pulling could be wored part in front end or low tire pressure as well and then could be a bad brake line or bleeding thing an dsome do have a block that fluid runs thru which might be stop up id try bleeding or checking brake lines should have some resistance but if any it should be same on both sides replacing caliber would have been my first choice as well next would be looking at brake lines or bleeding then look for bad lines or hoses and i think that block no know name of it control flow to each side but is rare they stop up most likey a line bad

In addition to the master cylinder, check that both tires are
the same size etc... tire pressure, and make sure the front
brake hoses are in good condition.

Keep an eye on this...

Also keep in mind that it could be something loose in the front
end.. ie tie rod, ball joints....

Some resistance is normal. Not sure what year your Suburban is, but if the rears are drums they could be out adjustment. you could get some of the same effect from that. If they are disc in the rear you could have the same issue back there. Does the wheel constantly pull to the left, or just a quick jerk then evens out. Also could be a brake hose going to the left caliper not letting it release all the way.

Check the master cyclinder ? make sure that is working fine. Good luck
