got a gmc sierra and it starts when cold. but wont start when warm, like

going from store to store.? ive got a 04 gmc sierra 2500hd, it starts fine when i first start it for the day, or havent driven for a few hours, but when i get in and out of it and try to start it like maybe 20 mins between starts, it hesitates. it wants to start. it take a few tries. could it be the fuel filter, or what?

it might be the fuel filter but if it starts fine when its cold it dont sound like the problem. it might be one of your coil packs. try starting the truck and dumping a little water on the coil packs and if there is a some sparks thats your problem
