have a 1996 sonoma 4x4?

i have a 96 sonoma4x4,and have a question to other board members?sometimes i hear a pop in the front end ,not to often but sometimes.i have had the suspension checked out,it has new ball joints ,brakes,shocks,the axle,wheel barrings is good the tie rods is good.the mechanic said everything looked good to him.he said sometimes the sonoma 4x4 is bad for the sway bar making a popping sound sometimes,and s-10s to he said will do it sometimes. my question is anyone else have a 4x4 sonoma that does it sometimes?it sounds like a bushing or something ,but have new bushing.
