having trouble finding turn signal lamp for my 85 gmc sierra classic 1500?

i orderd a new grille for my truck..i thought it was for sierra classic 2 but apaarantly just for 81-87 full size pcik up and suburban/blazer 90....the grille itself fits but my parking lamps (turn signal lamps) wont fit...there just a little too blocky for the lamp brackets of the grille...i was wondering how would i find a lamp smaller but will fit my bulb...

i know there are a couple different types of park/signal lights..but they have big differences not slight differences. my guess is you bought an after market grill and to avoid patten issues they just made the holes smaller
