Head/Tail lights Smoke Paint?/

Hey all back again, just got off the phone with my 2 local AutoZones, about Smoked head/tail lights for my 06 GMC Envoy, they said that they can't order the actual linses, but they said the paint is the same. So therefore I was wondering if anyone has used the Smoke Paint, and how I would put the pain on there, would I physically use a paint brush? or is it just spray?
