Folks I am looking for some real detailed help here. On my '92 Extended Cab (5.7) 4X4 I have the more or less deluxe A/C with the electronic controls. The issue I am having is that one of the actuator control arms came off of the actuator assembly under the dash. The actuator assembly turns the air dampers to control air flow to the A/C vents, heater or defrost. I for the life of me cannot seem to get this assembly figured out and I am looking for some very detailed information on the assembly of this entire A/C, Heater, Defrost airflow chamber and dampers.
I figure that I cannot be the only person with a Sierra/Silverado of that era that has had this problem. There must be a backyard mechanic out there that has worked this issue before and any help would be appreciated.
