Heater/AC Fan Control Bulb

I have a 1998 GMC Sierra C1500 SLE and the bulb needs to be replaced where the fan control knob is located. Are there any instructions on how to remove parts to get to the bulb or can someone just tell me? This is my first post, so I'm sorry if I'm in the wrong area. Thanks for any help you can give.

In case anyone has this problem I was told I would have to replace the entire AC/Heater control unit/head. The bulb will just have to stay out.
