heater/ac fan question

hey all,
for some reason, turning the switch for the fan does nothing, but the fan still runs (all the time, on I'd guess, the second setting). Heater temp and a/c work normal, just not fan speed. I have a 95 Sierra C1500 w/ 175,000 miles. I guess it's about time something strange happened. Any ideas?
