Heater Fan Not working

I just purchased a 91 GMC S15 Jimmy 4x4. It is in awesome shape, but the heater fan is not working. Due to super long work schedule, I have very little time to try to diagnose this. Does anybody have any Ideas?? A guy at my work said it is the switch and that they always go bad. What do you think???

It could be the switch or the blower motor. Does the blower motor ever work? At any speed setting? I assume the answer is no. Test for voltage at the blower motor. Of course check fuses and relays if applicable first. A blower motor and/or switch is about $5.00 at a good wrecking yard.

Blower blows with a jumper wire attached. Fuses and relays are good. This is why I assume it is the switch. Had the truck a week now and am working 70 hour weeks, so not much time to work on it. That is why I asked here to see if that was a good place to start. Thanks!
