I have a 1983 GMC Suburban C2500 High Sierra 7.4L
The hi beam headlights won't turn on and I'm at my wits end.
I've taken everything apart and followed the wiring harness multiple times, disassembled the fuse box and checked continuity, replaced the pull switch, tested each headlight (out of the 4), until I decided to change out the relay switch. I was having trouble finding a replacement and decided to make sure it was the relay switch by hard connecting the 3 wires with the high beams on and off to make sure the high beams came on.
That's when things took a turn.... the low beams came on with the low beam switch on and the high beam switch on, but the high beams never came on. It makes sense because all 4 headlights are supposed to turn on with the high beams on, but without a relay switch to stop the power, I can't fathom why they still won't turn on.
