Hello everyone, My mom has a 1997 GMC jimmy that she could not remove the key from the ignition and it would not shift out of park. I removed the cover from the center console of the car so I could manually disengage the the auto stick. When I opened that up I noticed a wiring harnes plugged into the stick that had 3 wires pulled out of it. Would this cause the car to have the issues with the key and it not being able to get out of park? If so, i don't know which wire goes where as the harness does not say. It is a six wire harness, but it only has 2 wires on the bottom and three on top. the three on top are the wones pulled out. Can anyone tell me the color coding of the wires or show me a pick of where the wires belong??
